When filming in the Seervision studio, you wonder where the cameramen are. At least not behind the camera – and yet the lenses follow the gentleman’s movements in the studio as if by magic. The Zurich start-up is about to revolutionize video production. With software that transforms every digital camera into an autonomous robotic camera. Adaptive Motion Control is the name of Seervision technology, which combines machine vision, machine learning and robotics and keeps people, animals and objects in the camera eye. “Our software controls cameras as sensitively as a human,” says Seervision co-founder Conrad von Grebel. The Swiss Technology Award winner 2018 will go on a Silicon Valley Tour in March as part of Venturelab’s Swiss Start-up-Nati.
